Patrick Brown Obituary

Patrick Haines Brown
Mr. Brown, 70, of Ahoskie, NC, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in Charlotte, NC on April 18, 1940. Haines owned Kirk Brown and Sons, a family automotive business for many years until moving to the Outer Banks to retire. Surviving are his wife, Tenna Johnston Brown; daughter Terry Brown of Charlotte; sons Benjy Brown of Charlotte and Pat Brown (Jean) of Anchorage, AK; daughter, Georgana Brown Evans (Nigel) of Murfreesboro, NC; siblings June Batchelor (Ken) of Carrollton, GA; Ruth Kirk Kinnamon (Wes) of Mooresville, NC; Malissa Day (Chip) of Matthews, NC; and Reid Brown (Ruth) of Matthews; 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews along with many great friends he met along his journey.
A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at United Outreach Ministries, with Rev. J.R. Thomas officiating. Memorials may be made to United Outreach Ministries, P.O. Box 1298, Windsor, NC 27983.
