I was acquainted with Paul for several years in the `90s. He was always cheerful and optimistic, even during a challenging period of business-related adversity. I admired his ability to maintain a healthy positive attitude despite circumstances that would have made many of us angry, bitter, or depressed. He set a good example, which I have always remembered. RIP, Paul.

My sincere sorrow in hearing of Paul´s passing. I knew Paul through cub scouting many years ago. Paul was always amusing at our little outings with the boys in the den. Paul was full of stories that always made you laugh. Paul was committed to seeing that his children developed into good citizens. Hollis, I thought your dad was a very decent human being and I always looked forward to seeing him again. Paul was so good with all of our children in the den; so caring for the needs of each individual that he interacted with. I never hear a cross work spoken from Paul mouth. He was an inspiration to many.

paul was one of a kind. smart, funny, hard working & playing man. we were business partners for years and he taught me many things, for which i will be forever grateful. we saw alot together - napa valley region, major cities across the us, he used to bring my kids vegetables for halloween, my 10 or 12 year old son was the bookmaker at his kentucky derby party. we had so many laughs and dreams, many of which we made come true..
he was an original edition, believe that. see you around fitcher.
