I have been reading these entries each one as they come into you all. I never knew Randy when he was older but I can see how much he will be missed and how much he was loved. I know that Sherry stuck by us when my daddy passed away. Even though we all have never kept up with each other, I know our hearts are locked together. I just want you all to know I share your pain and I know from what I am reading that there is so much love between you all and I love you all also. Psalm 107:19.

Becky, Aunt Faye, Sherry, and Debbie, Our thoughts and Prayers go out for you all. Randy obviously was a great joy to anyone and everyone he was ever around. I missed that great joy since we have grown up and gone our seperate ways, but I have the great memories of our childhood days. Family cookouts, racing on our bicycles, swimming in the pool, and of course watching him race his Gocarts. Randy and I were closer in age than any of our other cousins. He was exactly one year older than me. I Can't wait until the day comes and the Heavens open wide to our Heavenly Father, and there on the right side of our Fathers Throne with their arms open wide for you and the rest of us will be Randy, Uncle Phil, and Grandpa Ed Cantrell. What a joyous day that will be. Know that you are in our every Prayer. We Love you all. Gary, Dewanna and Davey

Becky,
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
We are so sorry for your loss. Randy was a wonderful person and he was a great friend to all who knew him.
It seems like yesterday that we were on the bus headed to Alexander Jr. High.
We know your heart is broken. May you find comfort in our Lord during the days and weeks to come.

Randy
Dotty my best friend gave me a Reunion Heart necklace in memory of you I wear it proud until the day comes and I'll will see you again.
Since Heaven has become your home I sometimes feel so alone and though we now are far apart you hold a piece of my heart.I never knew how much I'd grieve when it was time for you to leave or just how much my heart would ache from that one fragment you would take. God let's this tender hole remain reminding me we'll meet again. One day all the pain will cease when he restores this missing piece. He'll turn to joy my every tear and when I wear this necklace near it will become my sample way to treasure our
Reunion Day. I Love you Randy. My little brother.

As evidenced in the 7 pages of entries in this guest book, the number of friends and family that patiently waited in a line that wrapped around the funeral home last week and the many cards, calls and visits that our family has received, my uncle Randy is a well loved man and will be greatly missed. I don't have to tell anyone who knew Randy what a charismatic and loving person he was. He conquered everything he tried and lived passionately. These are the things we not only should hold on to, but MUST hold on to. Our family will now be guarded by not one, but two kind souls. Randy has filled one of the empty spaces next to Pappy in what will eventually be the final destination for us all.

To Randy my little Brother I'm going to miss you so much. I never thought what it would be like if I didn't have you. I got you riding Harley's and you loved it. In fact
Jack's was the first Harley you rode way back when. First it was the go cart racing and Colton gave you your nickname Yang Yang when he was 3 or 4. We had lots of good times. I miss you so much now.
You're my little brother I'm supposed to go before you. I know in my heart this was not you. What will get me through this is I know you're with daddy now. I love you Randy and I plan to ride in the wind
for and with you. You'll be my shiny star in the sky at night and the brightest sun in the day. I never thought I'd have to say good-bye to you. I love you Randy with all my heart. Please be at peace.
We'll take care of Becky for you.

To the entire family,
I just wanted you all to know that my thoughts are with you. Randy would always come in the shop and no matter what he was doing he took time to say hey to me. My fondest memory of Randy was when Derek died. He was there for us all anytime we needed anything and I want all of you to know that we are there for you also. I wish there was something I could say to make things better but I know that there isn't. Time helps but it doesn't ever go away. Just know that no matter what you will have the memories and that is something that can never be taken away. Just remember to stick close to your family and talk about him to keep his spirit alive. There are things that will happen in the next days, weeks, months and years that will make you want to cry and remember that is okay. It is okay to hurt and grieve how ever you want because there is no right or wrong way. If there is anything I can do for any of you please let me know.

Becky and The Cantrell Family:
I was so sorry to hear of your tragic loss. I've known Randy for a long time and used to work with him at WhiteGMC. He always had a smile on his face and was a good friend to have. I haven't seen Randy in along time but I ran into him not to long ago and he asked about my brother, Greg. From that day forward he was checking on Greg and going to see him alot. Which meant alot to Greg. Greg's daughters, Scotti and Reagann really got attached to him they loved to see him when he came around. Randy always could put a smile on your face. I know he meant alot to all of us and he will certainly be missed!
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. May God bless you and watch over you during this difficult time.

To Randys loving family My Prayers and toughts are with you today and in the days ahead. When I saw you'll last evening I remembered when Debbie and I were friends in jr high how we used to give Randy a quarter to leave us alone. I remember how Randy and my brother used to ride mini bikes on the lot behind the Cantrells house in Westminister Park. I sincerely pray that God sends you His peace that passes all understanding and shows you in His own precious way that Randy is with him. I am also praying for God's wisdom and mercy during the days ahead. Take things one day at a time, just remember to breath, try to get some sleep, eat healthy, lean on each other don't pull away from each other, run toward God not away from Him, hug each other more often, tell each other you love them, forget about the past and just enjoy each other, watch a sunset, give yourself permission to greive, talk about Randy often, never doubt that he loves you. Let God enfold you and carry you during this time. I do not understand why things happen as they do but I do know Randy is resting in the hands of God now and that you will see him again. If there is anything I can help any of the family with at any time please contact me. There are two Cathy Deal's on this site; I am the Cathy Deal that grew up in Westminister Park. My parents Carol and Willis Deal and the Deal clan send their deepest prayers for you and the family. The Westminister Park family are remembering Randy today and each of us have fond memories of the entire family.

My Dear Sweet Brother, My Rock,
There are not enough words to express just exactly what you mean to me. Although, there are twelve years between us, you and I were close and we both know just how much we loved each other. I watched you grow into a fine young man and meet the love of your life, Becky. (I promise we will take care of her for you.)
Since Daddy passed away, you were our anchor you tried to hard to fill his shoes, but finally admitted that his shoes were just too big. (you came pretty close.) Your love for everyone was obvious, you had a loving tender heart; just like Daddy’s. You knew how to make everyone laugh and you never met a stranger.
Cathy Deal reminded me just tonight that we used to pay you quarters to make you go away when you were just a toddler, but I’d pay ANYTHING to make you come back right now.
Randy, I know I will see you again one day. Until then, just know I love you so much.I miss you, Baby Brother.
Love, Debbie

Randy was a very special person. He helped my son get a job and was always concerned about his welfare. I remember him bugging Debbie and I when we were teenagers and he was only 6 or 7. In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
