Robert Justice Obituary

Robert Lewis Justice
Mr. Justice, age 81, of Charlotte, went to be with his Lord on Monday, June 12, 2006. Born April 9, 1925 in Davidson, he was a son of the late George Pinkney Justice and Bertha Goodrum Justice.
Mr. Justice attended Central High School in Mooresville and graduated from Coyne Institute in Chicago, IL. During World War II, he served his country in the United States Navy aboard The USS Montpelier from 1942 until 1945. He was stationed in the South Pacific. Mr. Justice was the former owner of Mooresville Electric Motor Service and Mooresville Industrial Supply. A 32nd Degree Mason, he was a member of East Gate Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Bodies and Jesters. Mr. Justice was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1160. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
The service to celebrate the life of Robert Lewis Justice will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at McEwen Funeral Service - Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Ruby Pat Killough Justice; son, Lewis Reid Justice of Charlotte; grandson, Jason Reid Justice of North Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Nan J. Patterson of Concord; brother, Richard and his wife, Laverne, of Rutherfordton; stepson, Willard Killough, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Seneca, SC and their sons, Will and David; stepson, Daniel Killough and his wife, Deborah of Wilmington and their children and grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Justice was preceded in death by two brothers, George Justice and Jack Justice.
Memorials may be made to Harris Hospice Unit at Presbyterian Hospital, PO Box 33549, Charlotte, NC 28233.
