Charlotte, North Carolina - Robert Eugene Shivers, age 63, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 11, 2025 in North Canton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ron and Diane Shivers.
Rob loved his family dearly. He strived to be a great father, grandfather, brother, and son. He took pride in his children and looked up to his dad and brother. He lived an authentic life. He was a kind father who taught his children to work hard and to never give up. He was resilient in the face of many adversities. He was a good friend to many throughout his life and would always look for the humor in any situation. He would have given the shirt off his back to someone in need and would often say "That's my good deed for the day."
He is survived by his brother, Tim (Mindi); two children, Sara (Andy) and Luke (Centrece); mother of his children, Janet; niece, Lauren (John); uncle, Bob (Pat); and five beautiful grandchildren, through whom his legacy will live on.
Rob will forever be loved and remembered by all who knew him.
To honor his wishes, there will be no formal service.
