Ronnie was my cousin and some of my best memories of childhood include him, Kim, Yahn and Claudia. We lost touch over the years but I never forgot him....so sorry we were not able to reconnect. I'm sure he's with Aunt Kate now at complete rest....

My oldest brother Ed was best of friends with Ron growing up on 30th street in Huntington W.V,. I was best of friends with Kim, Rons brother and my youngest brother Dave was best of friends with Yahn, Rons youngest brother. I remember with great fondness all the good times we had as kids and was very sad to hear of Rons passing. He was a special individual, loved by all. My condolences to all his family. Peace be with you!

I have known Robin since she was 8 years old when I started going with her sister, Susan, who was 14 years older. When we married, Robin was the greatest sister in law I can imagine. More like a little sister. I knew the whole time that when Robin married, he would be a super human person. Ron turned out to be that person. Ron was the favorite uncle to our kids and grandkids, the best brother in law to both Susan and me and the most caring person I have ever known. I'll really miss you, Rheummie! Love you, Ron! Ron was my high school French teacher. Simply put, I learned the language under him. He was by far my best language instructor, both on the high school and college level. Yet at the same time he seemed so laid back, you didn't realize his effectiveness until later.

"Most people aren't appreciated enough, and the bravest things we do in our lives are usually known only to ourselves." I'm not sure where I read that quote or to whom goes the credit, but it fits Ronnie like a glove. Sweet. Honest. Fun-loving. My dad loved you like a brother, called you "brother" and will miss you fiercely. Thank you so much for being the greatest friend he ever had. We will all miss you.
