I am so sad. I just found out about this today,as many others did, at the opening Panthers home game on club level. I cannot believe it. Over 15 years of Panthers games, Steve became my friend. I can still hear his voice. I am so very sorry. Dawn Garner

Deepest condolences to Phyllis, Sara. Remembering Steve from high school and years following. When I wanted to cry, he would make me laugh, he taught me not to be too serious about this life. Steve had a way of making you feel better about yourself. What a legacy! He left this world a better place. May the Lord comfort you now and the years to follow.

Only I could misspell my own name while trying to express my feelings about Steve. He would get a kick out of that.

Steve was a force of nature. He was one of the most talented, yet humble, men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. The world will be a smaller place without him.

Thank You, God for sharing Steve with us. There are countless people his joyful personality made a difference for. He was a wonderful dancer who once caused me to loose a heel off my shoe across the dance floor..never will forget how fun he was to be around! Though I have not seen him in years, he will live in my memories:) I like to think about Isaiah 35:10 when someone in my life who goes home. The verse is speaking of the Israelites returning to Jersusalem after Babyloanian captivity, but I think it is also a great visual of going to heaven and what happens when we get there.
There's another party going on because Steve has arrived. No question!
Peace that passes understanding to you, Phyllis and you, Sara!
