Steven Caldwell Obituary

Steven Drake Caldwell

September 28, 1948 - November 25, 2024

Boston, Massachusetts - Steven Drake Caldwell, 76, of Boston, MA, formerly Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024. He leaves behind four children: Maggie (Ken), Molly (David), Chad (Amanda), and Colin (Deborah), 10 grandchildren, two sisters, Sandra (Nancy) and Susan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Steven had a lifelong love for animals, particularly dogs, enjoyed fishing and skiing, playing soccer and lacrosse as a youth, and resided in Romania for the mid of his life. He was deeply involved in his community where he enjoyed many activities through Camp Dogwood for the Blind & Visually Impaired. His faith was especially important late in his life, attending Elevation and Plaza Baptist Churches in Charlotte for many years. In 2021, Steven moved to Boston to be cared for by his daughter, Maggie. He will be remembered for his kindness, resilience, social personality, and unwavering faith. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Plaza Baptist Church, Camp Dogwood, or an animal rescue of your choice.
