Thomas Wyatt Allen II
March 8, 1963 - March 24, 2021
Fort Mill, South Carolina - Thomas Wyatt Allen II, 58, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, formerly of Stratford, Connecticut, passed away holding his mother's hand on March 24th, 2021 after a long and valiant battle with cancer.
Tom is survived by his mother, LaRayne Rogers, his sister and brother-in-law Kim and Tom Richards, and his niece Ms. Elizabeth L. Feltovic. His father, the late Thomas W. Allen, passed in 2012.
Tom is a veteran of the Gulf War where he served as a Combat Engineer. For his service, he earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Kuwait Liberation Medal with two bronze stars. He served honorably in the Army, achieving the rank of SPC4.
Tom's patriotic service in the Army played a vital role in his life. He frequently pointed out his love of country and how proud he was to serve and protect our country's liberty and freedom.
A memorial service will take place at 11am on Thursday, April 15th, 2021 at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC followed by a burial with full military honors at 10:30 am on Friday, May 7th, 2021 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL.
