I met Dr. Noonan one time. While I was studying Mathematics, I approached him about doing an independent study in Astronomy. He was not interested, so I made other arrangements. That was almost 40 years ago, and I still remember that day.

I remember so well our visits at Florence and Joe's in California. I have photos of all of us together in the yard. We are all so sorry to hear of Tom's passing and know the family needs comfort and peace in this time of sorrow. Tom's Mother, Florence, was so very proud of him and we miss her very much. Our love and sympathy to the family, Ginger Noonan Bledsoe (former sister-in-law, wife of Earl "Buddy" Noonan. Tom's younger brother, deceased) and children Sam, Barbara and Bambi

What a blessing to have had the opportunity to know Mr. Noonan. I will always cherish sitting by him at church and listening to him sing hymns. He was truly a fine gentleman.

Ann - I was sadden this morning reading that Tom passed away this past week. I remember him well, his intelligence and his 'dry' humor at everyday life in general. I remember my chats and conversations with him. He was so above my intelligence level it amased me how smart he was on many subjects. I'm sadden that our family is so spread out these days that I had to discover his passing through the newspaper notice. It's quite sad. I have so many memories of our youth both here and Elizabethtown and Clarkton, Cherry Grove,S.C.. I wish you and yours comfort during both these days of 'Good Tidings" and saddeness in Toms passing. God bless all !
Your cousin ' 'BUDDY'.
