Veronica Agnes O'Regan
'Big Ronnie'
Ronnie, of Charlotte, died on Nov, 23, 2009. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on August 9, 1917. Ronnie proudly served in the US Navy during WWII as a Lt. JG, Hospital Corpsman in Hawaii. She married 'Goose' in 1946, had 4 kids and loved them all! She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph J. O'Regan, Attorney at Law. Surviving family include Patricia O'Regan, of Charlotte; Ralph J. O'Regan, Jr., of East Quogue, NY; Michael O'Regan, daughter-in-law, Martha Looney O'Regan, and granddaughters Ting (Sarah) and Emily of Beaufort, SC; and, (Little) Ronnie O'Regan, son-in-law, Michael Rukstelis, and granddaughter Grace Regan of Charlotte.
Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 1420 E. 7th St., Charlotte, NC 28204. Gratitude to Mecklenburg Health Care Facility and the Hospice team for their excellent care. A memorial mass is planned for December 4th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 6828 Old Reid Rd., off Park Rd.

Dear Ronnie, Mike and Grace:

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mom/grandmother. Be joyful knowing that one day you will be reunited with her free from pain and suffering. Until then, take comfort knowing that she is resting in the hands of our Lord and Saviour. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family. Carol Rains
