Wanda was a blessing in my life. I became friends of the Chavis family about 1991 and played the piano with them as they sang Gospel songs. She will be missed. I'm sorry to hear, but encouraged to know we can see her again someday in Gloryland. God bless you Ken and family.

We will greatly miss Wanda, she was always a lot of fun and she enjoyed life. I went to church with her for a long time, and I know she loved God and I will miss her, but I know she is in an amazing place. We love you and will miss you Mamma Wanda.

A few years ago I sold my house to the Chavis family. Just a week or two ago, I saw them out shopping and talked to them for a good while. They are wonderful people and my prayers and thoughts are with them. I know Wanda will be deeply missed. I am glad I got to spend some time with them recently. Anytime I saw them they were always happy and upbeat - no matter what. That is what loving the Lord and trusting in Him will do for you.
