William Lander Obituary
Bill is survived by his children, Anne Lander of Atlanta GA, Will Lander of Clemson, SC; his sister, Susan Fowler of Charlotte NC, and his brother, Jeff Lander, of Charlotte, NC.
Bill was born on May 1, 1952 in Charlotte, NC, son of Elizabeth Higdon Lander and William Samuel Lander Jr. He graduated from Myers Park High School and attended Wofford College and UNCC. Throughout his life, Bill owned various small businesses including Nagrom Systems and Superior Power Products.
Bill was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America and considered his passion as helping several scout troops nurture and develop Eagle Scouts. He also loved Ocean Isle Beach and deep sea fishing.
A memorial service will be 2:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Myers Park Presbyterian Church.
Memorials can be sent to Myers Park Presbyterian Church, 2501 Oxford Pl. Charlotte, NC 28207, to be used for Troop 55 or Habitat for Humanity.

Bill was also a pilot and owned two different airplanes in the early 80's. We had a few adventures together. Great guy and a very good friend.
