Richard Gully Obituary

Richard Leo Gully, 85, of Murphy, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
Richard was born in Bronx, N.Y., to the late Anthony and Rose Castelluicc Gugluicciello.
He worked in the clothing manufacturing industry.
Richard lived in Sarasota, Florida from 1971 to 2004 as a pool technician. He enjoyed anything Disney, loved singing and telling jokes to his family and friends. Richard loved making everyone smile and laugh.
He had lived in the Bronx from 1938 to 1967 and in Long Island, N.Y., from 1967 to 1971. In 2004, he moved to Cherokee County, North Carolina. Richard had served in the National Guard.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura Wison and husband Matt of Murphy; and his grandchildren, Nicole Shoemaker (Tom) of Winston Salem, Anthony Evans (Sarah) of Murphy and Mackenzie Wilson of Murphy.
A Celebration of Life will be held by family and friends at a later date.
