Lee, Jim, Joe, Jen, Riley, Christian and Kaitlyn,
There are NO WORDS to say how much Al meant to me. I feel so very lucky for the 38 years of memories. Al was one of the most generous men I've ever known. He taught me so many things, most especially that FAMILY IS FIRST...and everything else is secondary. There's a huge hole in my heart for the "BROTHER I CHOSE". I'll never forget him.
You have my word that I'll always be there for all of you. You are my family. Rest in peace, Al. Love, Judy

Dear Lee and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you,Lee, and your family. Your 4th of July tent of shade, the cool beverages offered and parade watching was always an enjoyable day. I appreciated your hospitality! That holiday will never be the same without Al there to offer his chair.
Fondly, Marge Walsh (Prospect Heights, IL)

To the family of Al Gleba,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Al was always so proud of his family and shared many a great story about you. He will be missed by the John Crane family for his expertise and his helpfulness as well as his smile. He was always willing to share his vast knowledge and educate all who will willing to learn. Know that your family is in our prayers and thoughts.

Gleba family,
I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Gleba's passing. You all have been a part of my extended family since the day I was born. I'm certainly going to miss seeing him around the neighborhood, but I'm glad we got a chance to chat the past year when he'd be outside getting some air.
Of all the memories of Mr. Gleba I have, I'll never forget he was the one with the warm water that got my tongue off your backyard railing after I tried to lick snow off it.
Thanks for the memories and being such a great neighbor!

Dear Mrs. Gleba and Family - We here at UPS were so sad to hear of Al's passing. We had supported the John Crane account and spoke with Al on a daily basis. He was always so nice and it was our pleasure to assit him in anyway. He was so proud of his family and would always have a great story to share. Please know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Al,
With sadden heart, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I have missed seeing Al at John Crane for a while. When I would go past his office window he would always wave and have a big smile. May God's Blessing be with you always. God will put in arms around you shoulder and comfort you. My 10 mos. old neice passed away 5yrs ago from Leukemia. How much they have to struggle. But now pain free.

I’ll always remember playing football in the "field" having Mr. Gleba drop-kick the ball so high that we thought he was a retired NFL punter. The videos that he archived are classic! I have great memories of watching his home movies, mostly our football games (before anyone had portable VHS cameras).
Of course, I recall jumping the backyard fence for a short-cut; the sand box that eventually became the garage, and neighborhood gossip that our mom’s knew about all too much.
Thanks again for the memories. I’ll always remember my first Spanish language lesson from Mr. Gleba, my name.
