Alexander R. Gillis Jr. WWII Army Veteran, beloved husband of the late Elsa; loving father of Ruth Ann (Michael) McGuinnis and Alexander K. Gillis; proud grandfather of Edward and Alexander. Visitation 9 a.m. Saturday until time of funeral mass 10a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 1431 N. Northpark, Chicago. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, New York.
