Fond father of Martha (Ken) Couto, the late Gregory Hook, Alice (Michael) Grace, and Russell (Judith) Hook. Dear grandfather of Tamara (Michael) McCloskey, Tracy (Lorenzo) Lopez, Ryan Hook, Ashley Grace, and Nicole Hook. Cherished great-grandfather of Lorenzo Lopez Jr., Vanessa McCloskey, and Isabella Lopez. Past Commander of Archer-Highland Post # 698, American Legion and Life Member of Ted Stempien Post # 8821, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Resting at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, on Monday, October 27, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, October 28, 2014, 9:30 a.m. at chapel, to St George Orthodox Cathedral, 917 N. Wood Street, Chicago, IL. I just saw his fresh grave at the cemetery today. A good friend of my uncle Bill Kushta (with whom he played baseball); as well as, my mother and father. Sad to see the passing of that generation.
