To The Waldeck Family,

Mary taught with Ann, and through her I became a friend of Ann also. We both have very fond memories of Ann over the years, and treasure them all. Our deepest sympathy to all. She will be greatly missed, but always remembered.

I was a friend of Ann's through Mary Calle, Kai Iaukea, Becky Davidson and that group. I also was a professional colleague, having taught, as did Ann, for many years in Chicago Public Schools. Although I have not been in regular communication with Ann for several years, I remember her very fondly and will miss the opportunity to share stories and laughs; she had a hilarious (wicked!) sense of humor that I greatly appreciated. I am deeply sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.
