Art was a special friend of my father's from the time they both started school in River Forest. I'm sure they had many exploits together during their formative years but I remember the old car meets in Hershey, Pennsylvania and Sandwich, Illinois. Perhaps the thing I most remember was the great friendship that existed between them. I also remember that Art hired my father to work at Bitzer Products. This was at a time that was most difficult for my dad. Thank you Mr. Bitzer. You will always be remembered.
