I knew Chuck Block through his work life. I worked with him over the course of a dozen-ish years, late in his career. He was a kind and wise mentor for me. We passed our working hours discussing the larger issues of philosophy and life in general. He clearly loved and valued his family life, and worked in support of that. I am happy to hear he spent his retirement years in the pursuit of what he most valued.

We will affectionately remember
Uncle Chuck as a kind and gentle man.
He told great stories and made fantastic
wooden ornaments which we still hang
on our Christmas tree. He loved
his family and will be missed by all
who knew him.
We will miss him and will always
remember him in our thoughts and
prayers.
Love,
Claudia, Nicole, Amanda and Gina

My Grandpa was such an amazing man. He was very strong, handsome, loving, artistic, passionate and hard working. He was and will continue to be looked up to by all of his grandchildren and will be forever missed. My Grandpa instilled a love for art and poetry within me. He amazed me with his artistic abilities. We were in awe of his constant dedication and love for my Grandmother. He has and will remain a hero in our family. It is an honor for me to call him my Grandpa. I love you Grandpa and will miss you. Thank you for being such a positive influence in my life.
Love,
Kendyl
