Christopher Gould Obituary

Christopher R. Gould, age 25, of Wheeling, suddenly. Loving son of Robert Gould and Linda Gould, nee Hansen; cherished grandson of Mary Ann and the late H. John Hansen, of Skokie, and the late Marguerite and Dale Gould, of Clarksville, TN; fond nephew of Donald (Gerda) and Robert (Cari) Hansen, Melody Gould and the late Joyce Eischen; dear cousin of many. Funeral Saturday, 10:15 a.m. from Haben Funeral Home, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie. Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 8100 Niles Center Rd., Skokie. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Illinois, 9501 W. Devon Ave., Rosemont, IL 60018. Aunt Linda, I just wanted to let you know I think (and have always thought) that you are an amazing person. That shows in the incredible strength you have shown the last ten months. I still pray for you and hope that someday the days without Chris may become a little more bearable. I know that he is watching over you and keeping you safe.

Aunt Linda and Uncle Bob,

A favorite memory I have of Chris is playing pac-man together on Atari at your home in Skokie. Of course he would always beat me and then somehow lead me to believe I won.

You both raised Chris to be a smart, kind, and caring man. And everytime I saw Chris around the two of you I could tell how much he adored and respected his parents. For that I admire you both.

I pray for both of you everyday.

Dear Linda,

Our family was very saddened by your loss. Barbara remembered Chris as her friendly bowling mate. I can remember him when he was so very young at the family picnic. He was called from you much too young, but you can cherish memories and know that he brought smiles to many faces, as I am sure he is doing up in heaven. Our sincere sympathy to you and your family.
