DeVera Levinthal Gordon, January 9, 1933 - August 12, 2022 , 89. Beloved wife of 59 years of the late Morton Gordon. Loving mother of Mitchell Gordon and the late Judith Sebring; daughter of the late Maurice and the late Rose Levinthal, sister of the late Audrey (the late Edward) Silver; aunt of Robert, Steve (Diane), and Michael Gordon, Marc Silver, Gregg (Joanne Moffic Silver) Silver and the late Jan Silver (Joe Robertson); grandmother of Emil Niemi and Summer Gordon; great grandmother to Po Mai Gordon; great aunt of Felicia Rubin (nee Gordon), Weston Arnhold Gordon, and Lindsay Morisseau (nee Gordon), and Ari, Jesse (Marisa), Hayley Silver (Brad Kessler), and Harley Jupp (Julie); great great aunt of Emma Silver, Eli Silver, Sasha, Theodore, and Tessa Silver, and Dylan and Jordan Kessler, of Henry and Jackson Gordon, and of Arabelle Gordon, Kolton Rubin, Michael Rubin, Dylan Rubin, Eliana Rubin, Penelope Rubin, Lennon Rubin, and Zeppelin Rubin. DeVera cherished her family and was a great wife, a trusted confidant, and a great advocate for her children. She was always upbeat and welcoming, had a big smile and a great laugh. She was fiercely independent, a voracious reader, had a great eye for art, and was a great friend of many. She loved animals, and especially her dogs.
