Dino Zaphiris Obituary

Dino J. Zaphiris, former manager of Carson's for Ribs, the Millionaire's Club and Peter Pan Restaurants. He leaves his former wife and best friend, Shirley Zaphiris. He was the devoted son of the late Penelope and John Zaphiris; loving father of Sandra Westbrook and Sharyn (Gene) Weiss; proud grandfather of Rebecca and Elizabeth Weiss, Tony Piecz and Lisa Scalzo; great-grandfather of four; dear brother of the late Bessie (the late John) Bibikes. A gathering of relatives and friends for a celebration of his life will be held Monday, Feb. 27, 2006 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Parkinson's Disease Assoc., 2100 Pfingsten Rd., Glenview, IL 60025 appreciated. Arrangements by John G. Adinamis Funeral Director, Ltd. 773-736-3833.
