Donna Graham Obituary

Donna Jane Graham, nee Bost, born May 25, 1930, loving mother of Mark, Jordan and Robert; grandmother of Rory, Alia, Summer and Charlotte. Donna was an avid cyclist, adventurer, and lover of dogs and beach sand between the toes. Born in Landis, North Carolina, Donna moved to Chicago at age 25, resolving to never live more than a 10 minute walk from Oak Street Beach. A devoted athlete and Francophile, she traveled all over France and much of the world on her bicycle, leading her own trips in Spain and France for over a decade. In her 50's, Donna cycled from Maine to Florida over a period of three weeks to raise money for hearing research. In her latter years she lived at Montgomery Place in her beloved Hyde Park. Those who knew her will cherish the memories of this loving, adventurous and passionate woman. Funeral service Thursday, December 1, 1:00 PM at Congregation Rodfei Zedek, 5200 S. Hyde Park Blvd, Chicago, IL 60615. Interment Oak Woods Cemetery. Info: Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 847-256-5700.
