Edward "Szczurek" Zurek, age 91, of Niles, beloved husband of the late Sophie Ann; loving father of Matt (David), Michael and Gerald Zurek; dear uncle of many. Visitation Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m. at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles. Funeral Services Friday, 11:30 a.m. Member of St. John Brebeuf Parish for nearly 40 years, Army Veteran, WWII. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Stroke Association appreciated.
