Eileen Bernstein (nee Kite) age 81, passed peacefully on Sunday January 26, 2014. Beloved wife of Dayton for 60 years. Loving Mother of Holly (Bill) Willson and Caryn Coath. Grandma of Graham Willson and Justin Coath. Sister-in-Law of Shirley (late Norton) Bernstein. Fond Aunt of Ling List, Donna Steinberg and Howard Bernstein and their children and grandchildren. Services were private. Open House at the home of Holly Willson, (630) 515-0369, 4419 Fairview Avenue, Downers Grove, Il 60515 on Saturday February 1 between 12 PM and 8 PM. Donations can be made to Season's Hospice Foundation 8537 Solution Center, Chicago IL 60677.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Eileen was a special woman. She loved all of you so very much. She will be greatly missed. Holly, you and your dad took loving care of her for a long period of time. My mom was at Meadowbrook with Eileen and shared a room with her briefly. It was so special to see a husband and wife so in love! My condolences to all of you and prayers for comfort in the days ahead.
