DiGioia; loving father of Lucy DiGioia and Angela Castillo; cherished grandfather of John Kruger; son of the late Eugene Sr. and the late Rosemarie Smith; fond brother of Don (Barb) Roberts and Mitchell Smith; close nephew of Loretta (Floyd) Blanski and Lee (Rose) Lorenty; brother-in-law of Michael DiGioia and Frances Bandomo; many special nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. Funeral services Saturday, Feb. 28, 9 a.m., from Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 S. Joliet Ave. (but not Joliet Rd.-between Harlem and First Ave., just south of Ogden Ave.), Lyons, IL 60534, to St. Hugh Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Inurnment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL. Member of Local #52 Tuckpointers, Caulkers and Union Brick Cleaners. Employed by W.J. McGuire from 2001 until recently. i didn't know Mr.Roberts but i know his grandson John. i know john loved him very much and that he meant the world to him. Things will get better. Mr. Roberts will be missed by many and I'm positive he will never be forgotten. Keep your chin up for your Papa he would want that.

the best best brother inlaw i could of asked for life was too short for you we froze durring smelt season even bow hunting like 2 nut,s in the woods just freezing ........god took you too soon but he needed a good tuck pointer to help him.........love your brother inlaw
