Everett Roberts Obituary
Everett A. Roberts, Jr., 79, of Bartlett for 23 years died October 21, 2017. Everett was the beloved husband of Thalia (nee Pavis) for 53 years; loving father of Lisa (William) Lucas and Jeff (Holly) Roberts; proud grandfather of Emily, Alexander and Sophia Lucas, William, John and Andrew Roberts; cherished brother of William (Karen). He was a Navy veteran, having served in submarine service. A memorial gathering will take place at a later date. Cremation took place privately at Countryside Crematory. Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Nature Conservancy, www.nature.org, would be appreciated. To the Roberts Family,
On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Everett's passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and our shipmate. The SUBVETS will have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Everett, who earned his 'fish' when he qualified on USS BECUNA SS-319, will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin and a great Patriot.
