I remember Florence & her husband, Albert, from ZDE, when my family of 8, frequently drove from the NW suburbs to have the best German food in town. This restaurant (and Gino's East) is one of my fondest memories of my hometown. As a young adult, I later met and became friends with her lovely, daughter Lucy, who I hope is well. What a legacy!! RIP Florence.

Al and Family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of Florence. I enjoyed her daily visits when she would walk past the LaSalle Lakeview branch at Belmont and Ashland on her way to and from the Y where she swam every day until her late 90's. She was a neat lady with a great sense of humor.
