George Cibon Obituary

George John Cibon of Bannockburn, Illinois. Born in Marburg, Germany on July 1, 1950. Passed away on January 26, 2017. Beloved husband for 33 years to Agi Groh Cibon. Loving son of the late Rose Cibon. Devoted father of Kati (Wally) Prestel, Ali, and Georgi (Madeleine). George worked alongside his dear uncle Steve Rosos at Rosos Chemicals in Lake Bluff for over 40 years. Cherished member of the Bannockburn community and friend to all. George also served in the Army National Guard and was a parishioner at St. Joseph's and Our Lady of Perpetual Help. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 4-8 pm at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd. Highland Park, IL. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 1747 Lake Ave, Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Stephen King of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 2015 W. Augusta Blvd, Chicago, IL 60622.
