George DeBolt Obituary

George Robert DeBolt, age 70, of Lemont, passed away June 10, beloved husband of Eileen, nee Coleman, DeBolt; dearest father of Keith (Mary Beth) DeBolt, Kevin DeBolt, Kathleen (Roger) Laster, Karen (Tom) Marino, Janet (Tom) Nagel, Pamela Mauss, Barbara (Ralph) Choat, Eileen (Keith) Manikowski and Edward J. Mauss; cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; loving brother of Ted DeBolt and preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers. Bob was a Korean War Veteran and worked 46 years for the Indiana Harbor Belt. He also was Vice President of the International Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Visitation Friday, June 13 from 2 to 9 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 8:30 p.m., at Hirsch Memorial Chapel, 183rd and Harlem Ave., Tinley Park. Interment at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Sugar Grove Cemetery, St. Bernice, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL 60602.
