Hubacek and Gerald (Jeanine) Hubacek; dear grandfather of Meredith Hubacek, Christopher Hubacek, Kimberly Hubacek, Johnny Hubacek, Katie Hubacek and
Stephanie Hubacek; stepbrother of Edward (Florence) Mikel, June Gervase, Shirley (Pete) Rada and the late Gladys Krubl; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield. Will lie in state Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, corner of Park & Grant, Brookfield, from 10:30 a.m. to time of service 11 a.m. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery. Active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, past President PTL, Board of Finance, and Chairman of Board of Trustees. Retired Machinist Reynolds Metals McCook, IL for 34 years. My favorite memory of George was of him teaching me to play pinochle on the picnic bench in Michigan. I never got the hang of it, but it was fun watching him and the other "grownups" play cards in that beautiful place and time. I miss George and the good old days.
