Will lie in state Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, corner of Park & Grant, Brookfield, from 10:30 a.m. to time of service 11 a.m. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery. My favorite memory of George was of him teaching me to play pinochle on the picnic bench in Michigan. I never got the hang of it, but it was fun watching him and the other "grownups" play cards in that beautiful place and time. I miss George and the good old days.
