I just talked with my father ( a spry 91 year old ) and he wanted me to offer his best thoughts and wishes to your family. Since Dad's suffering from Macular Degeneration and doesn't see well - I'm sending this in his name.

The Windhorst family and my family were neighbors in Wilmette. It seemed that George and my brother Steve (NTHS-'67) were always together trying their best to stay out of trouble - lol.
I can still picture Georges wonderful, impish, beaming smile.
My condolences to all ! Bill

Jim and I haven't seen George for a long time...but what wonderful, fun memories we have of him at Langtrys. He was such a kind hearted sweet man. I am so sorry for his family and friends. He truely was the "Senator" and will be remembered in the kindest and softest of terms. God Bless you George !!!

Known as Senator Floyd George in the Dr. Bop & the Headliners group, George was a great friend as well as an astute student of life. He will always be remembered, with a chuckle included.

George taught me how to sail when he was a counselor at Towering Pines summer camp in Wisconsin. And much later we had a great time at my wedding when my wife and I hired Dr. Bop and the Headliners to perform at our Wedding. In between George worked at Millens with my father. George was a very good person and truly did live a fun and exciting life.
