Gregory Thomas Kaszubowski "Kaz", 73, of Leesburg, Florida passed away peacefully at home on June 28, 2021. Gregory was a devoted father, grandfather, and husband; a true family man and a highly respected Veteran of our Great Nation. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held at Page-Theus Funeral Home on Sunday, July 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday July 12th at 10am also at Page-Theus Funeral Home followed by a committal service at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

Here's one more photo of Greg "Kaz" Kaszubowski that I found today after searching in an old school yearbook. It is from the St. Patrick HS (Chicago) yearbook from 1963, when Kaz was a Freshman. We were just 13-14 years old, but by then we had already been good friends for a long time, since first or second grade. This photo captures how I remember him.
Kaz was a bit on the quiet side compared to the rest of the friends we had, but he was popular and smart with a great sense of humor - he was always telling funny jokes.

Kaz was a good friend of mine for many years. We went to the same elementary school (St. Robert Bellarmine) and, for our Freshman year, we were also classmates at St. Patrick HS, in Chicago. Here's a photo of Greg (Center front, kneeling, wearing baseball cap; I am to his left, with my family's pet Beagle, Tammy) and other friends in my back yard on Leland Avenue, 1960. We were in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts together. I am saddened to learn today (2/3/23) that he has passed away in June, 2021. He was a good guy and I miss him.

My condolences to the entire Kaszubowski family.
I have known Greg since I was a child on Giddings Street in Chicago. Greg was always a straight up guy and treated everyone with dignity and respect. Never heard him say a negative word about anyone. He was also my first drum hero in the neighborhood, playing at Prussing social center in the summer. A loving husband, father, brother, son, grandfather
and friend. He will be missed by all.
