Gussie Simons, nee Kaplan, age 88, beloved wife of the late Louis; loving mother of Diane (the late Marvin) Hammerman and Pam Simons; caring grandmother of Tracy (Joe) and Gregg (Carrie); dear great-grandmother of Sam, Miriam and Aaron. Graveside services Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Waldheim Cemetery, Gate 92, B'nai Shalom, Lot 402, Grave four, 1400 S. Des Plaines, Forest Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice of Holland Homes, 2100 Raybrook S.E., Grand Rapids, MI, 49546, would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, 3 to 7 p.m. Information:
