I have great memories of your mom! I remember her being so funny and of good cheer when she drove us to St. Fabian's or we hung out at your house during elementary school.

I smile when hear Jackie is called Teeny Grandma . I can still see her seating at her desk , and It did not take a second look to know who was in charge of the office at the J.F. CavanaughCo. The case of the green beans showed how tenacity to keep order and that was Jackie , but her sweetness signaled she could be hugged too. Every company can look back and remember special employees and the Cavanaugh Co clearly has Jackie McCarthy right up at the top.

It is heart warming to read about such a beautiful person. My condolences for your loss. There are never enough words at a time like this. It brings us comfort to know that God is with us through everything we go through in life, including when we experience sorrow. As our Father he knows our suffering more then anyone. He uses his word to bring us comfort at a time like this. May the words of Jeremiah 31:13 bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

There is a coined phrase - "I'm a little piece of leather but well put together"- has been apropos for many of those tiny in frame but strong in game ! Jackie's 'feistyness' is celebrated by those who loved and knew her ! Her loved ones celebrate it! She stayed with life quite a while and made her mark on many hearts.
