We will miss Jeff deeply - he was a good friend and best man at our wedding. I guess the true measure of a person's life is how they are remembered, and we will remember Jeff as a funny, kind and generous person. The tragedy is that he was taken from the world too soon. But in the end, we are all better for having known him.

Jeff, since I first met you in 1989 you have not only been a good friend to me, you have been a mentor and more like a brother than a friend. I love you and I will miss your friendship immensely. I will cherish all the wonderful memories we shared together. Jonathan, Jeff was proud of you academic achievements as well as the man you are becoming.

All of us will miss Jeff's sense of humor, wittiness, and sincere friendship. I am personally truly blessed to have had Jeff as a good friend and mentor over the years since I first met him back in 1981. As he has done unselfishly for countless others, he did a lot for me both personally and professionally which I will be eternally grateful for. He has left us way too soon. Jonathan, you are and will always be the Apple of your father's eye! He loved you so much. My thoughts & prayers are with you and Jeff's loved ones at this most difficult time.
