Earl,
I miss Jeri so much. She was a force of nature: a light for our community and world, the strongest, most determined, level headed, passionate, compassionate, funny, brilliant, organized, honest person I have known. I wish we had played more Scrabble, that we could have sold more of her necklaces, that she was still with us. She brought color and beauty wherever she was.
Love,
Helene and George

I was lucky enough to experience the radiance of Jeri's smile from the moment we met in 1973 at CEMREL. Jeri could always tickle a laugh out of me or spark an insight from within. When I see bright colors, puppies or someone who thinks outside the box, I will be remembering Jeri.

Dear Earl,
Jeri was an important part of the Neve family and so inclusive of everyone that Byron and I took the opportunity to help create the "doorway" for the Shekinah that she designed. We will miss her and send our sympathy to you and your family. Byron and Lyla Michelson

Jeri was a mentor, a teacher and, most significantly, an inspiration to me. When I was 12, my mom, Diane (and a colleage and collaborator of Jeri's) got me a job with Jeri. Thank goodness! She taught me so many wonderful things about music, art, design, jewelry and love of life. I cherish her and appreciate her each day.

Earl,
I was shocked to read the news this morning. It had been a while since I last saw you both. Loved your visits to the gallery - Jeri was always upbeat and sparked things up with her energy, big smile and laughs. I know what a loss this is for you but for all that knew her as well. Jeri was a great person, a real artist and friend to so many. We will take Jeri's spirit to heart and keep our memory of her strong.

Jeri was one of the first patients I met here at Washington University and I was immediatley warmed to her because of her determined spirit and sparkling personality. She was such a fighter. While I am saddened deeply by her passing, I know she has found love and peace in the arms of God. My thoughts and prayers are with you Earl.

She was as unique and special a person as her art. Our hearts go out to those closest to her - Earl and Robert - but she will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Jeri had a loving spirit and was very generous with that energy. She was a second cousin to my children but found the time to support them in their endeavors. She knew how to be a supportive family member and I know that Earl and Robert will miss her terribly. We all will.

I am so saddened to hear of Jeri's passing. I met Jeri while I was the buyer for Laumeier Sculpture Park's museum shop. She was such a talented artist and a pleasure to work with. Her spirit will live on through those lives she touched and through the beautiful art she made.

Jeri was a very kind and generous person. When Carly was in the hospital she bought her a gift of books. She reflected on that kindness when she heard the news of Jeri's passing.
My family's thoughts and prayers are with you Earl at this time of your great loss.

Jeri came into my life through children doing art at the synagogue. She taught them with wit and kindness and knew how to prod and praise. Later she shared beads with us all at her home for weeks stringing together our community and a lasting decor that delights those who enter our doors at Neve. Personally she touched my young artists lives at the Youth Art Show at the Guild when she proudly stood by as my son won an award. The memorial Jeri arranged when our family lost our son touched us deeply and bound us together. I have rarely known anyone as regal and loving. We will miss her.

Jeri was one of the first people to contact me and try and help me feel welcome when she found out my husband was taking a new job in St. Louis and we would be moving here. She had lots of helpful suggestions and of course we had our love of beads in common. We will both miss her.
