Joan Chase Obituary

On Aug 24th, Joan (Goldman) Chase, 86 yrs old, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born July 13, 1936 and went to Von Steuben Highschool where she met and later married the love of her life, Robert Chase. Together they had 3 children, Bonnie , Steve (Ilene) and Ronda (Brian). Joan also had 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren that adored her. Joan had a fabulous life filled with family, friends, art and travel. Joan will always be remembered for her incredible sense of humor and a contagious laugh. A private family memorial will be held to honor her life. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson research.

Joannie was such a great mom to all of us ! Whenever we were over at the Chase house , she hung out with all of us and made us all feel special ! I always admired the love her and Big Bob had for each other all thru the years .We will miss you and your beautiful smile ! The Coe Family

Joannie and I became friends through living at
Gidwitz Place in Deerfield, I admired her and enjoyed her company along with her kindness and great sense of humor. She will be missed and I am grateful I had the chance to know her.
