Joan Olkowski Obituary
Joan lived a beautiful, adventurous 106 years that gave her glorious stories to share, stories populated by so many that loved her dearly. One of her greatest loves was her passion for family.
Retired Drapery & Children's Depts, Marshall Field's & Co., and long-time member of their choir. Member of the Polish National Alliance, Polish Roman Catholic Union, past president of the St. Ladislaus Ladies Club and Rosary Society, and founding member of the Polish School at St. Ladislaus Parish.
Visitation Thursday, Dec. 21 from 8:30 am until 10:15 am at COLONIAL-WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. Procession begins at 10:15 am to St. Ladislaus Church for a 11:00 am. Mass. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in memory of Joan. Info 773-774-0366 or colonialfuneral.com
