My family has been blessed to have lived as neighbors for 11 years across the street from the Shimashita's. Miyo and Joe, from the first time we met them (they both appearing at our front door with those fresh home grown vegetables), showed my family and I how special both of these 2 people were. To Allan and the rest of the Shimashita family please know we will miss Joe but not forget him.
