John Fisherkeller Obituary

John S. Fisherkeller; age 89 passed away peacefully on August 12, 2022; Preceded in death by the love of his life, Cheryl after 63 years of marriage. He was the loving father of Jack (Anne), Bill (Patty), Mariellen (Bob) Caron, Sue (John) Wuest, Jim (Chris) and Ed (Gail); Adored by his18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and fond uncle of 7. John was preceded in death by his sister, Marge Ryan Sabin; brother, Rev. Bill Fisherkeller CSV and his sister, Mary Catherine. Also preceding him in death was his sister-in-law, Gloria Nibbelink; He was a retired plumber and proud veteran Sergeant of the U.S. Marine Corps. John was a faith filled man with a special devotion to Our Blessed Mother. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet Tuesday for the Celebration of the Mass, 10:30 am at St. Peter the Apostle Church 551 N. Rush Street, Itasca. Interment private.
