My family feels great sorrow at the passing of Dr. Grotts. Our travels to the Chicagoland area have always included visits to the Grotts family home, where we were welcomed by Dr. Grotts. He was a tremendous person and a source of happiness in our lives. With prayers for the Grotts family...

I'll miss John's visits to Minnesota and our conversations at long, noisy dinner tables, in crowded school hallways and across various cluttered coffee tables. He was a kind and interesting man.
