Childhood classmate of daughter Allison. "Mr. Kessler" was also my 6th grade science teacher. He helped me more than once. I can still hear his voice, and still see his Karmann Ghia.
My condolences, truly. -"Tommy" M. (lived a block away on Lawndale).

Dear Kessler Family,
Your dad will always be remembered as a kind and caring man. I met him at Dawes School when I was the interim principal. He loved the children and the staff and we all loved him back.
He shared his delicious grape jam with me and I will forever be grateful to John Kessler.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Juliana Perisin

Mr. Kessler, the science man. You'll be missed. My condolences to his beautiful daughters. Your dad loved talking about you every time I ran into him as a substitute teacher. He was so proud of you both.
Blessings.

I will never forget John and I did the "Who's on First" skit at camp Timber-lee. The students loved it and it made my camp experience so much better that year. He was always a welcome presence at camp and I will miss seeing him there. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

We will miss you dearly Uncle John. I hope you're playing Sevens with Karen, Dore and Kandi, drinking red wine and cracking jokes. We will miss your endless curiosity, your love for your family, and your fun loving spirit. Debi, John, Josh and Charlie
