John "The Barber" S. Rizakos. Beloved husband of Georgia nee Kollintzas. Loving father of Loula (George) Economos and Sofia (Rimas) Maurukas. Proud pappou of Theofani and Yanni. Devoted son of the late Stavros and Stratigo Rizakos. Dear brother of Gus (Olga), Basil (Winnie) and the late Dimitrios (the late Katina) Rizakos. Brother-in-law of Toula (Christ) Karageorgis and many others. Loving uncle, cousin and friend of many here, in Canada and in Greece. John was a barber since 1965, a member of AHEPA, Pan-Laconian Brotherhood and Spartia Brotherhood of Chicago. Visitation Monday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Family and friends will meet Tuesday morning at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church 5649 N. Sheridan Rd., Chicago, IL 60660 for funeral service at 10:00am. I just found out today about John. John was my barber for 40 years since I was 15. I will truly miss him.
