Hello to Jordan's family, I am just seeing this news and I am heartbroken. I met Jordan probably 25 years ago, helped him with his new MacBook. He did my taxes for decades! He was so smart and funny. I am so sorry to his family for your loss. He will be very missed, I am just heartsick to read this news. All my best and healing wishes to Jordan's family, Brian

Dear Family and Friends of Jordan Zoot:
I am a guy from Maui, Hawaii, who met, and worked with, Jordan many years ago at Arthur Andersen & Co in New York City. We were all young then, and I was a recent law school graduate and Jordan was already a supervisor or manager in the Tax Department of the firm. I remember his quick wit, high energy, physical strength, and bright eyes behind his eyeglasses. I left the accounting firm in 1986 and never saw him again, but he must have left an impression on me because I never forgot him, or the fact that he was kind and supportive of me while I was employed there. I was therefore saddened to see his obituary while on the Internet. When I listened to his brother deliver the eulogy I was reminded of Jordan because the cadence and tone of his voice was very similar to what I remember of Jordan. To all of you I extend sincere condolences on his passing, and for Jordan I pray rest eternal. Thank you Jordan.

I´m so stunned and saddened to discover this great man is no longer among us, and to just now, learn of his passing. Jordan was my accountant and friend for over 30 years, and normally we would have spoken before the end of the year (he always was ready with some year-end advise to keep me on the ball). Even when his call wasn´t forthcoming, I wasn´t concerned because he ALWAYS had so many irons in the fire, and so many other people who sought and benefitted from his friendship, wisdom, and humor. I just watched his funeral service online and felt a bittersweet joy in hearing his brother Ivan captured, so well, Jordan´s essence. I´ve had the privilege of knowing many interesting and gifted people through the years but must say Jordan was one of a kind, unique in his extraordinary brilliance and outlook on life - all of you who knew him know what I mean. His absence leaves a void, and I will miss him, what an amazing guy!

I knew Jordan from NYC when he was my accountant. He also referred some business to me and later, when I moved to Delaware, helped me set up my law practice.

The speed of his mental process was staggering. He was a workhorse too, and could produce finished work product second to none in record time.

He was also hilarious. He told great stories and enjoyed a good laugh.

He touched a lot of lives in a positive way. A formidable and unforgettable character. Gone too soon. Condolences to his family.

I'm shocked to hear that Jordan is no longer with us. I hadn't heard from him since he rang me after my dad died this March. Jordan was so supportive. had no idea that I would then hear that Jordan's also died. I was focussed on my dad's death and hadn't checked in with Jordan since. I first met Jordan in Manhattan in the mid-90's and he did my accounts for me ever since. He was one in a million, his intelligence, wit, enthusiasm was out of this world. I will miss him. I thought he'd always be around. Gone far too soon.

I just learned that Jordan passed. We became acquainted through my accounting needs and Jordan's exceptional skill at addressing them. Over time, the magnetic center of our relationship had less to do with discussions of numbers and mostly to do with animated quips and anecdotes. Jordan's spirit was vital and generous, his perspectives were raw and hilarious. I miss him. Rest in deep peace, my friend. My condolences to Jordan's family.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Jordan's sudden passing. We've shared experiences through thick and thin over the past 38 years and was always there when needed. He was a real mensch. I will miss him very much. My deepest condolences to the family. RIP my good friend.

Jordan was my accountant, and a friend. He helped me get my business, taxes and finances in order, which might not sound like much, but because of him, I´m so much better off in a myriad of ways. He did it all for free, because he knew I was struggling, and I´ll forever be indebted to him for that. To say Jordan was a character, is truly not giving him credit. He was such a unique, funny, interesting person. He knew his stuff, and he never struggled to find the words to explain complicated concepts, all with a twinge of sarcasm. He was greatly appreciated, and he will be deeply missed. Sending my love and condolences to his family and friends. RIP Jordan.
