Joe was a great friend and long time business associate of my dad, John Pappas. My dad would always speak highly of Joe and the value of their friendship. Over the past year Joe has provided strength and support to our family after the passing of my father. We will miss him! The Pappas Family

I am the daughter of Don Kruse and Sally Updike. Joe went to high school with my parents at Benson High in Omaha, NE and knew my father since childhood. I knew him well and also called him Uncle Joe. He would always visit when he would drive in for the Nebraska football games years ago. I would go and visit him and take the grand tour of Chicago. When my mother passed he continued to call frequently and loved to talk football with my husband. It was never hard to find X-mas gifts for Joe-as long as it was Big Red! He was a dear man and very good to me and my family. We will miss him terribly!

Our condolences to the Baldwin family. I worked with Joe at Teletype and have known him for 35 years. He was a great sports fan and always generous in sharing his Cubs and Northwestern football tickets with me and my wife. His sharp wit and legal counsel will be missed

Uncle Joe was a fantastic guy. He always made sure we were okay when my father was overseas serving in the Marine Corps. When my father Bill Baldwin passed away fifteen years ago Uncle Joe consistently reached out to stay in touch and keep us all involved in the family. By the way, Amanda Besselman (my father's second oldest granddaughter, daughter of Beth) will be graduating from law school in the spring. Long live the Baldwin lawyers!
P.S. Yes, Gerald this is the same Joseph Baldwin who worked for ATT in New York.

I worked with Joe at AT&T for over 12 years as his secretary in the Law Dept. He was a brilliant attorney and he also taught me many things that I took with me the rest of my career. My condolences for your loss. Joe was one of a kind. Ingrid Kardynalski, Huntley, IL

We are sad to learn of the death of our cousin, Joseph P. Baldwin, whose life was devoted to his career in law and also to his passion for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. If he were to read this, he would surely say, "Go Big Red!" Joe was a third generation of Baldwin lawyers, starting with his grandfather Joseph Pearson Baldwin, followed by William Orville Baldwin and Joe's uncle Robert M. Baldwin. This marks the end of the Baldwin line of lawyers from Nebraska.

If Joseph Baldwin worked for A.T.^ T. in New York, I knew him well.
When he came to Chicago, he would have dinner with my wife and
me. He was a good friend of mine. My condolences to his
survivors. My name is Gerald R. Kronblad. I lost my wife about
two years ago and I am now living in a retirement home in Elmhurst.
