Dear Parson Family:
I didn't hear of Joe's death until after the service, otherwise I would have come. I met Joe when I was working at Merker's where we played countless hands of Gin, drank coffee and generally critiqued events of the day. It's funny how you can connect with someone forty five years older than you in such a profound way. Between our daily encounters at Merker F.H., the Village Club and our occaisional road trips together, we had a unique friendship that I cherish to this day. The last time I saw him was at Bud Comers funeral, and although it had been a long time since we'd seen each other, we picked up like it was only yesterday. I will truely miss this one of a kind man. God Bless you Joe.
