Josephine Gerlowski Obituary


Josephine DeLegge Gerlowski, formerly Bloniarz , of Seminole, FL. Born Feb. 24, 1926, in Chicago IL, where she lived most of her life. Josephine was a vibrant caring woman, who will always be remembered for lending a helping hand to her friends and family. She passed away peacefully at her son's home Feb. 1, 2008. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard (Phyllis) Bloniarz and her devoted husband Bernard Gerlowski. Survivors include her loving children, Sue (Tom) Wasmund, John (Juanita) Bloniarz, Pat Bloniarz, Jim (Mary) Bloniarz; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation Saturday, Feb. 9, 8 a.m., followed by 9 a.m. service, at St. Raymond de Penafort, 301 S. I-Oka, Mt. Prospect, IL 60056, 847-253-8600, followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, 2905 N. Thatcher Ave., River Grove IL. Phone 708-453-0273.

Dearest Sue, Tom, Dina, Heather, TJ, Mike, Mel, and Little Gabi-

We are so, sorry for your loss. Please know that your Grandma Josephine was a very special women to a lot of extended family. We loved Grandma Jo and she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless You All!
