Linda L. Keiler

Linda L. Keiler (née Zuber), 73, of Elmhurst, Illinois passed away Monday morning, October 16, 2023 after a long battle with early-onset Alzheimer's.

Born January 24, 1950 in Saginaw, MI she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Kathleen Zuber whom she adored throughout her life. Linda was a graduate of the 1968 class at Glenbard West. She received her BS in Education from Northern Illinois in 1972 and went on to receive her MS in Education, with a specialty in reading. Following her studies, she taught at Mannheim Junior High in Franklin Park for seven years before shifting her focus to raising a family. As her children grew older, she took on tutor roles and then worked as a marketing manager in the kitchen & bath industry. Linda enjoyed working with students and young adults during her teaching and tutoring years. She also enjoyed supporting and collaborating with clients in her marketing years. Surviving is her loving husband of over 52 years, Ken Keiler, whom she met at Northern Illinois and married September 4, 1971. Together they have two children, Matt (Patty) Keiler of Glen Ellyn, Illinois and Scott (Maria Chabot) Keiler of Lombard, Illinois. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Ava, Brooke, Elizabeth and Ronan; her sister Christine Watson; her Aunt Rosemary Terhune; her cousin Tom Terhune and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was a doting mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, thrilled when other women joined the family which allowed her to showcase her ability to never turn down a good sale. Vacationing with Ken and her family to Charleston, SC over the years was always special for her. She cherished the time she spent with her friends and was always excited to talk about her love for the Chicago Bulls, the 90's version.

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, a visitation at 9:30am and memorial service at 11am will be held at St Peter's United Church of Christ in Elmhurst, IL. Following the memorial service a luncheon will be held at Francesca's Amici in Elmhurst.

Burial will be private.
